The family of Tim McLean, the 22-year-old Winnipeg man murdered and beheaded by a stranger on a Greyhound bus Wednesday night, may speak to the media today.
The bizarre attack on a highway outside Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, has made headlines around the world.
McLean was dozing in his seat at the back of the bus when a man he never met before, began stabbing him in the chest with a large knife.
As the bus driver pulled over and passengers fled, the attacker hacked up the young man's body and cut off his head.
A suspect, 40-year-old Vince Li, of Edmonton, is charged with second-degree murder and makes his second court appearance Tuesday
