A water main break on Barker Blvd. has finally been repaired after it left houses within one block without running water since Friday.
Crews were out working to repair the problem in Charleswood early on Sunday. They tried repairing it on Saturday, but there were complications that prevented it from being completed.
The City of Winnipeg said it doesn’t know what caused the break, but a water tank was put on the street for homes to use until it was repaired.
Some homes are still without water. It's not clear when the water will return.
