The mayor’s inner circle will consider a report calling for gender-neutral language on all Winnipeg documents.
The city’s human resources department wants to implement a review to ensure paperwork and signage has wording to better include the LGBTTQ community.
It also wants to promote voluntary self-declaration for all new job applicants and current staff who want to self-identify as LGBTTQ.
Under the plan, diversity training would also be put under the microscope.
Executive Policy Committee will discuss the report Wednesday.
