Closing arguments have been rescheduled until Tuesday in the case of a doctor accused of sexually assaulting a teenager at the Children’s Hospital.

Walid Abdelhamid initially fled the country after getting bail three years ago.

He was arrested in Greece and brought back to Winnipeg.

The young patient was just 15 at the time that he says the doctor molested him.

He was temporarily paralyzed following a motor cross accident when the incident allegedly occurred.

Abdelhamid has pleaded not guilty.
