CTV and United Way Winnipeg kick off the annual Koats for Kids drive
For 30 years, CTV and United Way Winnipeg's Koats for Kids program has helped thousands of Winnipeg kids stay warm and toasty over the winter months. Our young people need warm winter apparel, so they can attend school and participate in outdoor winter activities.
Now open for the season, Winnipeggers can drop off new or gently used outerwear for infants, children, and youth at any Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Station or Access Storage location, or the AMJ Campbell office. Items that can be donated: new or gently used winter jackets, ski pants, hats, scarves, mittens, and boots.

Thanks to the generosity of Winnipeggers, 36,000 articles of clothing were donated to Koats for Kids in 2018, with 326 volunteers sorting donations, mending coats and ski pants, and delivering winter gear to schools, daycares, and agencies throughout Winnipeg.

FAQ for Contests
Why does the contest say I already entered today when I haven’t?
Browsers download and store web pages on your computer’s hard drive to help speed up download time on subsequent visits. This storage of information can affect entering some CTV contests. It is usually an issue with contests that require a clue word to be entered.
If you try to enter a clue word and the site says you have already entered the contest that day but you haven’t, your first step should be to clear your Browser History and Cache. Clearing these, will remove the stored information and should allow you to enter the day’s contest.
Deleting history on iPad/iPhone.
Settings>Safari> Clear History and Website Data. Confirm by tapping "Clear" from the pop-up window.
