A staple in Osborne Village is being reduced to rubble Monday.
Crews started Aug. 27 into demolition of the old Movie Village site on Osborne Street, between River Avenue and Roslyn Road.
The demolition is to make way for the expansion of Shoppers Drug Mart.
Movie Village has since moved its shop further south on Osborne, to a space it shares with Music Trader.
As part of the project to make room for Shoppers’ expansion, crews tore down the structure that used to house Vi-Ann restaurant last week.
