"ECCC received videos of the tornado as well as multiple reports of damage," it said in a weather summary released on Friday.

ECCC said the Northern Tornadoes Project completed an on-site storm damage survey on Thursday, giving the tornado a preliminary rating of EF-0 with estimated wind speeds of 120 km/h.
