Family members believe the body of missing Manitoba teenager Tyler Arkinson has been found.

Arkinson, 14, was last seen leaving a house party on the Sagkeeng First Nation on March 21.

A major search was conducted involving police and community members.

Arkinson's family tells CTV News the teen's body was found Monday afternoon along the shore of the Winnipeg River.

Sagkeeng First Nation Chief Donavan Fontaine said the community believes it's Arkinson's body, but are waiting for dental records to determine the identity.

RCMP also said the identity of the body has not yet been confirmed. An autopsy will be conducted.
