A Winnipeg city councillor said parts of his ward smell bad and he wants people to let Manitoba Conservation hear about it.
Coun. Matt Allard (St. Boniface) has launched a website stbsmell.ca. It asks people to identify the companies they believe are responsible for the odours and how it impacts them.
The web results will be forwarded to Conservation officials who can investigate complaints.
Allard is hoping the province can work with the companies to mitigate the odours.
St. Boniface is home to a mushroom plant and rendering facilities.
