Fire breaks out at North End auto shop, causing $120,000 damage

A fire at a North End auto repair shop Friday night caused $120,000 damage, according to police.

The blaze started around 8 p.m. at Gino’s Automotive on McGregor Avenue. Fire crews were able to extinguish the inferno, which is believed to have started in a car inside the shop.

No one was injured in the fire.

Police said the cause of the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
