Fire crews returned to a home on Beverley Street on Sunday after it began smoldering again.

At least six fire crews first responded to calls of a fire at the house at around 3:30 on Saturday afternoon.

Smoke billowed from the charred windows of the upper level of the home. Firefighters made their way to the roof, where they hacked away at scorched shingles before being able to douse the flames inside.

Costs are estimated at $60,000.

There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
