A number of Little Tikes items are being recalled by Health Canada over fears a plastic toy nail is too small and could choke a child.

The Little Tikes Workshop plus ten other sets, are on the list. In addition, the Carry Along Tools Caddy, Action Power, Rev N' Roar and Carry Along Workshops are also being recalled.

The recalled toys were sold at various times between 1990 and 2004.

This follows a large recall in the United States after a pair of incidents where the eight centimetre toy nail became stuck in a child's throat. There are no reports of incidents in Canada.

Parents are asked to take the nail away from their children and call the company for a replacement. For more information on this recall go to Health Canada's website.
