Police are investigating an early morning shooting in the 400 block of McKenzie Street.
A 29-year old man was leaving a house party just after 3 a.m. on Saturday morning when the shooting began.
The man and a woman were headed towards a parked vehicle when the man was shot at and wounded in the lower part of his body. He was transported to hospital by friends and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Police say they don't have any information on possible suspects at this time but are asking anyone with information to contact Winnipeg Police at 986-6246.
