Thousands of people gathered in downtown Winnipeg on Tuesday to catch sight of Justin Bieber.

The teen singer hit town for a sold-out concert at the MTS Centre. Some fans lined up for hours, trying to catch a glimpse of Bieber before the show.

Tour buses and semi-trucks lined downtown Winnipeg on Tuesday as crews prepared for the concert.

Officials said doors opened at 6 p.m. on Sept. 14.

The show was expected to wrap up by 9:15 p.m., said officials.

Officials also offered suggestions for drop-off and pickup locations for the concert at:

  • Eastbound Portage Ave., in front of 330 Portage Ave.
  • Eastbound Portage Ave., in front of Radisson Hotel
  • Southbound Donald St. beside MTS Centre (either side of street)
  •  Southbound Donald St., beside City Place (west side of street).
