The Grand Rapids Fire Department is using a training exercise to help the family of Jennifer Catcheway search for their missing daughter.

Jennifer went missing June 19th, the day of her 18th birthday.

Family and friends say she was seen leaving Grand Rapids that night.

She had called her mother promising to come home for a birthday celebration; but she never arrived.

On Saturday about 50 people, including members of the Grand Rapids Fire Department and her family, began searching in ditches and treed areas along Hwy 6 near Grand Rapids.

They will also search a dam in the town's provincial campground.

Friends and family of the missing teenager have also searched areas around Gypsumville, Swan River, the Dakota Tipi First Nation, and the Long Plain First Nation, following a variety of leads.

Several organizations are offering rewards for information leading to her whereabouts.

If you have any information, you're asked to call (204) 777-0553.
