Police seeking suspect in weekend shooting on Maidstone Lane

The investigation into a weekend shooting on Maidstone Lane has resulted in London police identifying a vehicle and suspect of interest.

As previously reported, just before 4 a.m. on Saturday, police were made aware of several gunshots heard in the area of Maidstone Lane and Raleigh Boulevard.

Police have since obtained surveillance footage from the area, and learned that a dark-coloured Jeep Wrangler stopped in front of the residence on Maidstone Lane at roughly 3:50 a.m.

According to police, a suspect exited the vehicle and fired multiple rounds at a house on the east side of the street. The suspect vehicle then fled north on Maidstone toward Raleigh Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a man with a medium build, who at the time was wearing a hooded sweater with markings along the sleeves. His hood was pulled up.

Investigators continue to appeal to anyone in the public that may have information on the suspect, vehicle, or shooting to contact them.
