A 44-year-old man is facing numerous charges after a brief standoff near Steinbach.
Just before 5:00 p.m. Tuesday night, Steinbach RCMP received a call stating that a man had been shot at by his neighbour.
Police say no one was hit or injured as a result of the shooting.
Officers surrounded the alleged suspect's home and demanded that the suspect come out.
Eventually the man surrendered peacefully.
A high powered rifle was recovered from the home.
Forty-four-year-old David Wieler is facing numerous firearms charges.
