Police are searching for a suspect after a man was severely beaten.
The man was found lying unconscious on the grass along Main Street in Steinbach around 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police say the man had been involved in a violent altercation inside a home.
The man was taken to hospital in Steinbach, but his injuries were so serious, he had to be brought to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
Steinbach RCMP say they are looking for one suspect who they believe took off after the assault.
