A vehicle drove off a curve, collided with a tree and burst into flames on Aug. 10 in the RM of Reynolds.

A 47-year-old man was found dead inside the vehicle, said RCMP.

Police and emergency crews responded around 8 p.m. on Saturday to the crash site, about three kilometres south of Highway 44 on Julius Road in the RM of Reynolds in eastern Manitoba.

Crews spotted the pickup truck burning in the ditch. Firefighters put out the blaze and the body was found inside the burned out truck.

RCMP said an early investigation showed the truck had been heading southbound when the driver is believed to have lost control on a curve.
