Officers said a man was treated in hospital after being hit with bear spray inside a home during a confrontation.
Prior to the incident, a woman was followed to a Talbot Avenue home just before 11 p.m. Tuesday by a man and a woman.
Police said the woman and two suspects had been previously arguing at a convenience store.
The suspects, believed to be in their thirties, followed the woman and threw a rock through her window on Talbot.
A man inside the residence confronted the suspects and was hit with bear spray, said police.
Arrests have not yet been made.
