A man has pleaded guilty in connection with the death of a Manitoba gang founder.

Jacob Worm, 26, pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter in Saskatchewan court on Monday for the death of Daniel Wolfe in January.

Wolfe, one of the founders of the Indian Posse gang, died after Worm stabbed him twice in the chest in a Saskatchewan jail. Another inmate, who Worm stabbed 20 times, survived.

Worm was sentenced to 10 years, concurrent with a life sentence he is already serving.

Worm's lawyer said his client pleaded guilty to manslaughter because Daniel Wolfe was not the person targeted in the attack.
