Four suspects face charges for a stabbing incident that sent a 33-year-old man to hospital in critical condition.

Winnipeg police were called around 8:30 p.m. on Friday to the 800 block of Main Street for reports of a stabbing.

Three men and a woman had approached a 33-year-old man and assaulted and stabbed him, said police.

The victim was rushed to hospital in critical, but has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Officers arrested the suspects on Jan. 22.

Sheldon Donovan Muswagon, 23, John Alfred Scott, 18, and Ryan Scott Harper, 18, all from Winnipeg face charges for aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, said police.

A 16-year-old female also faces charges.
