Our Team
Tim Salzen
Born and bred in Winnipeg, Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg and a Radio and Television Arts Diploma from Confederation College. He also has an accredited Certificate in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University.
Before joining CTV News Winnipeg, Tim spent eighteen years training adults in the theory and practice of audio-visual production, broadcast performance, and news writing.
Tim also has over 11 years of television broadcast experience, working at various stations in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He has worn many different hats such as: news reporter, news anchor, assistant news producer, and client services writer/producer.
