The city is officially looking for a new tenant to move into the vacant restaurant space on the Esplanade Riel bridge.
In January, Chez Sophie closed on the bridge when owners said they weren't making any profit.
City Councillor Brian Mayes said he doesn't think it needs to be a restaurant that moves into the space.
Mayes said he knows of at least one interested cycle shop.
The city will host tours of the vacant space March 16-17.
The deadline to sign the lease is March 31.
