The recent winter storm has forced a number of schools closures and bus cancellations across Manitoba.

Here is what’s closed on Friday, Oct. 11:

Louis Riel School Division

School busses are running but will be delayed throughout the city.

Currently all schools are open and classes are scheduled.

A number of schools in the division are without power, but they are still open and classes are ongoing. The division said students’ attendance is at the parents discretion.

The following schools are without power: École Varennes, École Marie-Anne Gaboury, Archwood School and Louis Riel Arts & Technical Centre

Portage la Prairie School Division 

Oakville School and the Hutterian Schools will be closed. All schools within the city of Portage la Prairie, Man., will remain open. All school buses will not be running, including town busing.

Turtle Mountain School Division 

All classes and busses within the division will be cancelled.

Prairie Rose School Division

All schools and facilities closed.

Interlake School Division

All classes cancelled.

Evergreen School Division

All classes cancelled. 

Lakeshore School Division

All classes cancelled. 

Pine Creek School Divison 

All classes cancelled.

Lord Selkirk School Division

All classes cancelled. 

Sunrise School Division

All classes cancelled. 

Brandon School Division

No rural bus service today.  City schools open. O'Kelly and Spring Valley schools closed. Alexander is open.

Seine River School Dvision

All schools closed. 

Sergeant Tommy Prince & Adult Ed. 

Closed today.

Rolling River School Division

All schools closed today

St. James School Division

No  Headingley buses, Phoenix School is open

Sagkeeng First Nation Schools

Closed today
