Officers charge second man with first-degree murder in death of Manitoba man, 96

MACGREGOR, Man. - RCMP have charged a second suspect with first-degree murder in the death of a 96-year-old man in western Manitoba.

Niels Nielsen of MacGregor was found dead in his home on May 25.

A week later police charged Jason Conway, who is 21, with first-degree murder.

Police say the latest suspect is 54-year-old Martin Sutherland.

Both men are from MacGregor.

Sutherland is to appear in Winnipeg court Sept. 26.
