A 26-year-old man was sent to hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning.
The man was walking near Salter Street and Alfred Avenue around 6 a.m. when he was hit by the vehicle.
Police said the man was rushed to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition.
Winnipeg police temporarily closed the area to traffic to investigate, and reopened it shortly after 1 p.m.
The central traffic unit is now investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call investigations at 204-986-6271.
