A woman was seriously injured while trying to cross Portage Avenue Tuesday morning.
She was struck by a car at Woodlawn Street.
Police say the 48-year old woman was crossing northbound and the car was heading eastbound.
She was initially taken to hospital in unstable condition, but has been upgraded to stable tonight.
Eastbound traffic on Portage in the area was closed for the majority of the day.
Police said Wednesday they're continuing to investigate the collision.
