Winnipeg police have arrested a suspect from an attempted child abduction last Thursday.
The incident happened on McKenzie Street when a man tried to grab a four-year-old girl who was walking with her mother.
Early Sunday police issued an arrest warrant for Ruben Kyle Mawakeesick, 26, of Winnipeg, for five offences, including sexual assault.
Police said Mawakeesick was arrested around 5 p.m. Sunday.
