Officers announced today that a deceased male who was found on Sept. 12 in the St. Boniface cemetery died from body trauma.
Officers were called to the 900 block of Archibald around 9:30 a.m. after a passerby spotted the body.
Police identified the homicide victim as Frank Green Jr., 17.
Friends told CTV the teenage boy's smile stood out. Many said they're taking his death hard.
Police say they had been called to the same spot where Green's body was found about eight hours earlier for a report of suspicious males running through the area. Officers didn't find anything and cleared the call but are now looking for a connection between the incidents.
