RCMP are connecting a drawn-out police presence in the West End Wednesday to a major drug investigation, Project DILEMMA.

During the take-down that closed Wall Street, police seized two pipe bombs, eight other explosives, four firearms, cash, drugs and club clothing, officials said at a news conference Thursday morning. They said one business and 12 residences were visited.

According to the RCMP, every member of the Rock Machine in Winnipegis behind bars, with 11 people charged in the bust.

Police were on-scene on Wall Street between Portage and Wolever Avenues Wednesday. They closed the area to traffic late Wednesday morning, but re-opened it around 4 p.m.

Several units were brought in, including the bomb unit. Sources say something was detonated in the back alley.  Neighbouring homes were evacuated.

RCMP said over 140 Winnipeg police officers are working with them on Project DILEMMA, which started in August 2012.
