The Winnipeg Police Service has arrested two more suspects following a North End homicide in September.

On Sept. 22 police went to a home in the 300 block of Pritchard Avenue for a well-being check, and found Jason Peter John James, 40, dead. Police said he had been assaulted.

Police arrested three people at the home, and following an investigation Diamond Sky Caribou, Gabriel Todd Mecas and Sarah Louella Osborne were charged with second degree murder. They are in custody.

The homicide unit then identified two more suspects in addition to these three, both of whom have now been arrested.

On Dec. 31 police arrested Michael Anthony Caribou at a downtown hotel.

On Jan. 3, officers arrested Faron Alexander Spence at a home in the 200 block of Furby Street.

They have both been charged with second degree murder and are in custody.

Police thank the public for their help.
