Police have seized weapons and drugs during a raid on a home Monday afternoon.
On Monday, Mar. 9, 2009 at about 3:15 p.m., members of the District 3 Community Support Unit with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team and the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team executed a Search Warrant at a residence in the first 100 block of Polson Avenue.
As a result of the raid, the following items were located and seized:
- Remington semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun
- 22 calibre semi-automatic rife with scope
- Winchester rifle
- Compound bow and arrows
- Bear mace
- 4.4 grams of cannabis marijuana
19-year-old Bradley Irvin Hildebrand has been charged with the following offenses:
Careless Use of Firearm x 2 (unsafe storage)
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm x 3
Possession of Firearm while Prohibited x 3
Possess Marihuana
Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace
Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Recognizance x 5.
He has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
