Police surrounded a house in Charleswood on Rannock Avneue near Scotswood Drive Sunday evening.
A neighbour says they saw police pointing a gun at a house.
Several people were escorted out of the home. One person was taken into custody.
Police continue to investigate and have not released further information yet.
