An unknown number of Halloween skull and pumpkin Tiki torches are being recalled by Health Canada due to labeling and packaging issues.

Health Canada said the torches have a fuel canister and wick installed in a bamboo supporting stake with a removable plastic skull or pumpkin outer coverings.

They are being recalled because they don’t comply with Canadian labeling and packing requirements, it said. The canisters meant to contain fuel don’t display the required warning information and are not supplied with the required child resistant closures.

Health Canada said the products were sold in Spirit Halloween stores between August 2015 and October 2016, and were also potentially sold in previous Halloween seasons.

Neither Health Canada nor Spirit Halloween received reports of incidents or injuries related to the product.

Anyone who bought the products should contact the store at 1-866-586-0155 or by the company’s website.
