Winnipeg Convention Centre

All of the public are welcome to attend the Monday, November 11 event which is hosted annually by the Joint Veterans Association of Manitoba and the Canadian Forces.

The Convention Centre doors will be open to the public at 9:30 a.m. The public is asked to be seated by 10 a.m. and the Service will begin at 10:15 a.m.

Details: The Winnipeg Brookside Cemetery is offering tours of its Field of Honour during Remembrance Week. Brookside Cemetery is home to one of Canada’s largest military interment sites.

Details: November 11 is a day to remember our veterans. If 11 people donated blood in their honour, 2 cancer patients could receive treatment. DONATE BLOOD!

Western Canada Aviation Museum Remembrance Day Activities

Location: Hangar T-2 958 Ferry Rd (at the corner of Ellice Avenue and Ferry Road)
Details: The Triump and Sacrifice tour begins at 2:00 p.m. The tour is devoted to celebrating the lives and accomplishments of many revered Canadian citizens, on the ground, or in the air, who fought and died for our protection and safety.
