Santa Claus made a special appearance at Animal Services in Winnipeg Saturday.
The jolly old elf sat for photos with family pets for donations of $10, with proceeds going to Animal Services’ dog education and adoption program.
Dogs big and small were invited with their owners to come for a photo and bring donations of dog food or collars and leashes for the shelter.
Anyone interested in donating or having their pet’s photo taken with Santa can go to Animal Services at 1057 Logan Ave. between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday.
The shelter currently has 44 dogs available for adoption. The annual fundraiser for the shelter is now in its twelfth year.
