A parent told CTV News that Hastings School in Winnipeg will indeed host a Halloween celebration, after previously announcing the cancellation of it.
Parent Stephen Meleck said the school has also said it will host a winter concert, another event which the school had previously cancelled.
The school sent a note home with children, saying the decisions had been made after careful consideration and in light of feedback from the community, he said.
