A suspect is now in custody for the murder of a 27-year-old man more than a year and a half ago.
Winnipeg police were called to the Stradbrook Avenue and Osborne Street area around 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 5, 2011.
Baljinder Singh Sidhu, 27, was found with stab wounds at the scene. He was rushed to hospital but died from injuries.
Following a lengthy investigation, police announced on Jan. 25 that Zeljko Mikic, 24, has been charged with second-degree murder.
