A sentencing hearing for a 16-year-old boy who previously pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for the killing of a Pizza Hotline employee has been delayed.

The case was adjourned until Jan. 25 because the defence said it didn’t have enough time to view a pre-sentence report.

The victim, Gerald Crayford, was killed during a robbery at a Pizza Hotline on Concordia Avenue in May 2011.

The Crown is seeking an adult sentence for the 16-year-old boy.

A second suspect also faces charges for the killing.
