Our stretch of mild and sunny days in Winnipeg and across southern Manitoba continues today. By the noon hour, temperatures were already exceeding the freezing mark. Winds are light this afternoon, too. So, if you have the opportunity to get outside for some fresh air, conditions are really comfortable by early December standards!
Temperatures in the north will stay below freezing today, but are also mild for this time of year. Unfortunately, you won't see much sunshine today, though. The northwest is cloudy while light snow is falling in the northeast this afternoon.
Back in Winnipeg, we're in for a mild weekend with afternoon high temperatures right around freezing. Keep in mind, the normal high for this time of year is closer to -8C. That's been closer to our overnight lows as of late!
Even well into next week, look for daytime highs that will come close to or sail above 0C!
On the flipside, if you're hoping for more snow, you'll have to continue to wait. There's not much to speak of in the forecast over the next week.
