It's a grey day across most of Manitoba on Friday. Most regions have already seen a touch of light snow today.
Temperatures in the south are slightly above normal for this time of year with afternoon highs expected between -9C and -11C. Southern regions in the north should reach the mid-minus teens while more northern areas will remain in the -20s today.
A disturbance approaching from the west will spread light snow in the Parkland region down to Minnedosa in the southwest and in the northwest this evening. Snowfall amounts aren't expected to amount to much.
We may well see a few flurries on Saturday in Winnipeg and across the south. It will be easily be the milder day this weekend. Saturday night, much colder air floods the region leaving with us with highs around -20C around the south on Sunday, but with lots of sunshine.
