It's a cloudy, windy, but very mild end to the week on Friday in Winnipeg and across southern Manitoba. Ahead tonight, the sky will clear, but fog patches that are expected overnight into Saturday morning could reduce visibility on roads and highways.
In the north, yet another round of snow is falling across central and northeastern regions this afternoon.
Also today, a low is developing off the BC coast that will move east quickly, bringing snow to central Manitoba on Saturday.
A ridge of high pressure will build in behind the low that will bring strong winds to southern Manitoba by Saturday night. They will bring the unseasonably warm temperatures we've had all week in the south to an end.
Temperatures won't really budge on Sunday in Winnipeg. But we're not headed into a deep freeze just yet. That really just means a return to normal temperatures for this time of year.
