After Tuesday's scorching low 30s temperatures across southern Manitoba, conditions get back to reality today.
Daytime highs in the midteens on this first full day of fall on Wednesday are right around normal for this time of year.
A distrubance moving into Manitoba from the west is tripping off light scattered showers across the south. And winds will be gusty from the north until early this evening before they ease up considerably.
In a role revearsal from the last couple of days, conditions are much drier across the north.
Tonight, many areas across the province will be fairly clear. But fog patches are expected to develop overnight including in Winnipeg and across the south and creeping into northern regions.
Winds shift again on Thursday, thanks to a low over northern Alberta today. As it advances east, it will bring strong winds to southern regions in our province. But they will be coming from the southeast which will help push highs into the low 20s.
Even warmer temperatures return on Friday.
