Temperatures Wednesday will be cooler than yesterday across southern Manitoba, but not much. Most areas should reach daytime highs between 0C and 3C.
A minor distrubance is slowly moving across the south. It brought a light snow shower to Brandon this morning and will pass through Portage la Prairie this afternoon. We'll see if it has enough steam left in it to make it to Winnipeg. But if it does, it won't last long or leave much behind.
Across the north, termperatures are mild with most regions reaching highs a few degrees below freezing today. The northwest and the northeast will see the sunshine while central areas with be cloudier with light snow in places.
Fog patches are expected to develop overnight in Winnipeg and across the south. That could reduce visibility if you're doing any overnight or early morning driving on Thursday.
It will sure feel like spring is around the corner by Thursday. Sunshine and highs well above freezing return to Winnipeg and will continue right through the weekend. In fact, temperatures will come close to double digits on Saturday and Sunday. Even Monday!
That should melt any snow on the ground - for now. You'll just have to decide if you're ready yet to wear your spring jacket!
