A Steinbach man woke-up to a violent baseball bat attack after two men broke into his home early Sunday morning.
Steinbach RCMP say the man was sleeping when the two men came into his room and allegedly assaulted him with a baseball bat.
The victim suffered a broken arm and head trauma.
He was treated in hospital and has since been released.
Investigators have arrested 20-year-old Kelsey Baerg and 33-year-old Brad Stadnyk. Both men are in custody charged with aggravated assault.
