A new study will look at the experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit, queer and questioning students.
The study will also examine what educators need to help include students.
University of Winnipeg professor Catherine Taylor, along with the Manitoba Teachers’ Society, will launch the Every Teacher project.
Taylor wants to learn what works, what supports educators and what holds them back.
The research is being supported by a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
