RCMP said a 20-year-old suspect is facing a manslaughter charge after a man died on Tuesday, following an assault on the weekend.
Shortly before 12 p.m. on July 7, RCMP were called about an assault in the RM of Tache. Lothar Krieg, 58, was rushed to hospital. Officers said he died from injuries on July 10.
Dillyn Carl Nodwell Friesen, 20, from the RM of Springfield was initially charged with aggravated assault, but has now been charged with manslaughter, said RCMP.
