An 18-year-old woman is facing charges after a 30-year-old woman was stabbed in a Weston area home early Sunday morning.
Around 1 a.m. Sunday officers went to a home in the 300 block of McKelvey Street and found a woman had been stabbed.
Police said two women in the home began arguing when the woman was stabbed.
Winnipeg police have arrested and laid charges against an18-year-old woman. She is now facing charges of aggravated assault and failure to comply with a sentence.
The forensic identification section continues to investigate the incident.
