Police say a 17-year-old girl is dead following a single vehicle crash on Wellington Crescent Thursday afternoon.
Officers say a 17-year-old was driving with four other people when he lost control and hit a tree.
The driver and a male passenger were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two female passengers suffered from life-threatening injuries, but have since been upgraded to stable condition.
Police say all of the teens in the vehicle were 17 years old.
Next of kin notifications have been made and no names are being released at this time.
The investigation is continuing by the Traffic Accident Investigation Unit and anyone with information on this incident is asked to call officers at 204-986-7085.
